Have you ever had fresh CHOCOLATE whipped cream? Because you totally should!
There is something so ultra decadent about topping your dessert with a rich, chocolaty fresh whipped cream. I can think of a TON of things that would be bumped to the next level of awesome by a touch of this tempting topping. Top your hot cocoa with a big dollop, or an ice-cream sundae, or fill an eclair or cream puffs. Heck, practically everything is better with a little whipped cream right? So why not CHOCOLATE whipped cream?!?!
As easy as a standard vanilla whipped cream
All you need is heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, a good quality cocoa powder and vanilla extract. If you want to try some of the finest cocoa powder you will ever have, get Valrhona Cocoa Powder. It really doesn’t get much better than this! And if you are going all out with the best ingredients you can find, you should try Neilson Massey Vanilla Extract, it is SO worth it!!
I promise you won’t be disappointed adding this rich, decadent and creamy chocolate whipped cream to your favorite mug of steaming hot cocoa. OH, and on a side note, I also love adding a tablespoon of my Salted Bourbon Caramel Sauce (get my recipe here) to my hot chocolate! I mean if you are going to do it, you might as well do it right! Am I right?! Don’t forget to add a drizzle on top for good measure!
The list of delicious things you can do with this chocolaty creamy delight is pretty much endless. Recently I used it to fill my mini cream puffs. O. M. G. !! I ended up having to make a second batch for my customer after I ate half of her order, hahah!!
